MANNA INTERNATIONAL BIBLE INSTITUTE
NEW MIBI APOSTOLIC CENTER IN UGANDA, WEEK 9

We continue week 9 to establish the MIBI KAI Center in Mukono, Uganda
WE CONTINUE TO HOLD OUR WEEKLY MEETINGS
Our residence in downtown Mukono has now been our home for almost one month, and we have settled in well and plan to remain here for the time being.  We have become familiar with the area and can easily meet our daily needs without relying on our Uganda family. We also continue to hold our weekly team meeting here, as well as enjoy fellowship with them in the Mukono area.
Our biggest issue at this point is that we have hit a roadblock to obtaining our missionary visas that will allow us to remain in Uganda once our tourist visas expire. We are in touch with both the US Embassy in Uganda and the Immigration Bureau regarding working through this issue. Please pray that we are successful in getting an extension of our tourist visas until this roadblock is resolved so we can remain in Uganda as we await our missionary visas. We will let you know the result of this effort in our next blog post.
During our third week in this location, we were introduced, by one of our Uganda team members, to the pastor of the Mukono Love Church, which is within walking distance of our present residence. We enjoyed a wonderful time of sharing with him, as well as a lovely reception prepared by the church ministry team. You may find out more about this ministry at www.mukonolovechurch.org.

We were also invited to attend their weekly service last Sunday and were able to share about our mission with the congregation. We are now working on setting up a seminar there to introduce their community to the Apostolic and Discipleship ministry that will be the focus of the KAI Center’s mission once it is established.  We believe that God connected us to this church, and that we are called to partner with them as we all fulfill our God-given missions. Please pray that God will direct us as we proceed with this relationship.
Thank you for your prayers and interest in the new MIBI KAI Center.
We will keep you posted as things develop about every two weeks on the  MIBI website at www.mannabible.institute/blogs under the New MIBI Apostolic Center in Kampala
