MANNA INTERNATIONAL BIBLE INSTITUTE
NEW MIBI APOSTOLIC CENTER IN UGANDA, WEEK 7

We continue week 7 to establish the MIBI KAI Center in Mukono, Uganda
MORE ACCESS TO STORE, RESTAURANTS AND BANKS
We have now settled into our residence in downtown Mukono, and we are enjoying having more access to our Uganda team, as well as stores, restaurants, and other needs such as banks, post office, etc. We also were able to hold our weekly team meeting here in our first week and began looking for a site for the KAI Center. We thank God for providing this place for us at this time.
Unfortunately, though we thought at the time of our last blog post, that we had successfully registered MIBI as an organization in Uganda, we encountered a requirement that, after much prayer, we determined we could not meet. Therefore, we will pursue instead the registration of the KAI Center, as soon as we are able to meet the necessary requirements.
This change in direction has caused us to have a problem obtaining our missionary visas that would allow us to remain in Uganda once our tourist visas expire. However, we have another means of obtaining that, which we are now working on. We believe that we will be able to accomplish this task and be able to remain here without interruption, but we would appreciate your prayers in that regard.

Below is the photo of our bank, Tropical Bank of Uganda with Mukono Love Church on the 2nd floor. On the right is the bank officer signing the account.
Another interesting development that occurred this first week was that the President of MIBI made a visit to South Sudan, which is one of our remote sites. The community there has an independent training facility that they would like to serve as an MIBI Apostolic Center there.

Pastor George was welcomed by the church leaders and the South Sudan military leaders who committed to providing a safe training location for MIBI. Here are some of their photos.
During our second week, we were also introduced to a pastor of a community in rural Mukono, who also has a vision for Apostolic Ministry. We were invited to visit the site of this mission, which is called Unity of Faith Apostolic Ministry. There we discovered that the primary mission of this community is training and caring for poor and/or orphaned children. We have included some photos from our visit there. You may find out more about this ministry at www.ufamug.com. We believe that God connected us to this pastor  for a variety of reasons. Please pray that God well reveal these as we proceed with this relationship.
