NEW MIBI APOSTOLIC CENTER IN UGANDA, WEEK 17
We continue week 17 to establish the MIBI KAI Center in Mukono, Uganda
Thank you all for following our progress in the establishment of the KAI Center in Uganda and supporting us through your prayers and encouragement. We have accomplished many of our goals in the establishment of the KAI Center in the last month. Included in these is the establishment of an organizational structure for KAI, with each of the KAI team members serving in the roles for which they are especially gifted
At this point, they have all begun functioning in their respective roles. We were also able to hold a wonderful celebration of the graduation of our team members with one Associate and three Bachelor MIBI degrees on Saturday, August 29th.
Also, we held an introductory Discipleship Training course at the Mukono Love Church. This was held each week on Sunday afternoons from Aug. 2 – Aug. 30. There will be a closing ceremony with those who attended the course receiving a Certificate of Attendance on Sunday, September 6th at their 10am service led by two of the members of the KAI Center Team.
With all of these tasks being accomplished and after much prayer, we concluded that we could better serve both the KAI team and the MIBI development as we move into another level of training, which will begin in May 2027, by relocating to Kenya, where our Manna Bible Institute partner is located. We were able to accomplish this move during this past week. We expect to reside here for this next year, with periodic trips to Uganda to complete specific tasks in the establishment of the KAI Center.
One of the essential tasks for the full functioning of the KAI Center, that we will better be able do from Kenya, is to hold an intensive training MIBI Master’s program for the three Uganda students who just received their MIBI Bachelor degrees. They will come to Manna Bible Institute here for most of this degree program. Once they complete that, they will be ready to carry forward the Transformation and Kingdom ministry curriculum of MIBI out of the KAI Center across Uganda and Africa.
