MANNA INTERNATIONAL BIBLE INSTITUTE
NEW MIBI APOSTOLIC CENTER IN UGANDA

Join us as we establish the MIBI KAI Center in Uganda
OUR FIRST LOCATION IN UGANDA WAS A COMPLEX IS CALLED PEACOCK APARTMENTS IN NORTHERN KAMPALA.
This temporary residence is comfortable by African standards; but given the transportation challenges here, is too far away from the area where our ministry team is located for us to begin any significant work on the mission at this time.
OUR MISSION WAS ALSO DELAYED BY CONSTRUCTION, TRAFFIC, AND UTILITY OUTAGES
As we prayed about this delay, we understood that God was using this period for us to acclimate to the environment, weather, time change, food and cultural differences that exist when one moves to another part of the world. Thus, when we fully begin the mission, we will be ready for it..
LEARNING THE CULTURE
WE ARE GROWING DAILY
We have come to see this as similar to the forty days in the wilderness that Jesus experienced after He was baptized by John in the Jordan River before He officially began His ministry..
PRAY THAT GOD WOULD LEAD US
STAYING FOCUSED ON OUR MISSION
After spending a full day in prayer, we felt that God would lead us to the place where we would set up the KAI Center, and that day we had an opportunity to get transport to view some possible ministry sites.
WE STARTED THE SEARCHING WITH GOD ON MARCH 29
THE 29th OF EACH MONTH IS AN IMPORTANT DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR MINISTRY
As it happened it was March 29. Many of you know that we have a list of 31 Scripture quotes and that we decree one each day of the month. On the 29th of each month our Scripture quote is “Do not despise the day of small beginnings, the vision awaits its time. If it seems slow, wait for it. It will surely come; it will not delay.” Many significant events in our ministry have occurred on this day.
When we prayed for direction, God told us to go to Mukono. As we were going, we were reminded that it was in Mukono that we first started the Uganda mission and where our “second baby” was born. . We did not find any specific site that seemed right that day, but we did know that God had chosen Mukono for our mission going forward. This is also where our original classes started, and therefore close to where our team members live.

HERE IS OUR ROUTE FROM PEACOCK APARTMENTS TO OUR NEW HOME IN MUKONO
Our new home in Mukono
God has provided us with an apartment in Mukono and we will move to that location on Saturday, May 9, which by-the-way is the day before the US celebration of Mother’s Day!
More about us
WHEN WE GET TO MUKONO, IT WILL BE MORE PEACEFUL AND LESS HECTIC
Once we settle there, we will begin to have weekly training sessions with our Uganda Team; and as God leads us, begin to look for the specific site God has chosen for the foundation of the KAI Center.
BELOW ARE SOME PICTURES OF OUR NEW HOME IN MUKONO.
WE WILL BE A SHORT DISTANCE FROM THE MAIN ROAD THROUGH MUKONO
We will have access to shops, food, banks and community. The roads will be easier to search for the new apostolic center. Click the arrow to see a video of Mukono Main Street
DOWNTOWN MUKONO
We will keep you posted as things develop about every two weeks on this Manna International Bible Institute website Blog location. Blessings and love from us.
